References to “we”, “our” and “us” refer to Ocean Hare Ltd. References to “you” or “your” refer to the person using our website or purchasing goods from us.

2. Our Products
We sell second-hand sailing clothing, accessories, boat parts, electronics, and memorabilia.
Each item is inspected and described as accurately as possible, including any visible wear, defects, or special features. Please read product descriptions carefully before purchasing.
Because our products are used or collectible, small imperfections or signs of wear should be expected.

3. Memorabilia
Our memorabilia items may include signed clothing, sailing gear used in competition, event merchandise, or other items of historical or sentimental value related to sailing.

Please note:

  • All memorabilia items are sold as described and are typically one of a kind.

  • Due to the unique and collectible nature of these items, all memorabilia sales are final and non-refundable, except in cases where the item is proven to be not as described or damaged in transit.

4. Used Boat Parts and Electronics
We also sell used boat parts and marine electronics, including navigation instruments, rigging hardware, fittings, and related components.

Please note:

  • All parts and electronics are sold as described and have been visually inspected and/or tested where stated in the product listing.

  • It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure compatibility with their vessel or existing systems before purchase.

  • Unless specifically stated otherwise, no warranty or guarantee is offered on used parts or electronics.

  • Electrical and electronic equipment should be installed by a qualified marine electrician. We are not responsible for damage or injury caused by incorrect installation or use.

  • Returns will only be accepted where the item is not as described or damaged in transit, and must be reported within 14 days of receipt.

5. Orders and Payment

  • All prices are listed in Pounds Sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable.

  • Payment must be made in full at the time of ordering through our secure online checkout.

  • Once you place an order, you’ll receive an email confirmation. This confirms we have received your order, but it does not guarantee acceptance.

  • We reserve the right to cancel or refuse an order if there is an issue with stock, payment, or pricing.

6. Shipping and Delivery

  • We deliver throughout the UK (and internationally where available).

  • Shipping costs and estimated delivery times are shown at checkout.

  • We are not liable for delays caused by courier services, weather conditions, or other factors beyond our control.

  • Ownership of goods passes to you once full payment is received, but risk of loss or damage passes upon delivery.

7. Returns and Refunds
Because our items are second-hand or collectible, returns are accepted only if an item is:

  • not as described,

  • faulty, or

  • damaged in transit.

If you believe this applies, please contact us at hello@piphareoceanracing.com within 14 days of receiving your order. We may request photographs of the issue before approving a return.

Approved returns must be sent back within 14 days of approval in the same condition as received. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 7 working days of receiving the returned item.

Please note that we do not offer exchanges or refunds for change of mind, size, or fit.

8. Condition Disclaimer
All items are sold as second-hand or collectible goods. While we check every item thoroughly, some wear, fading, or minor defects may not be immediately visible.
By purchasing from this website, you acknowledge and accept the pre-owned or used nature of these products.

9. Website Use
You agree not to use this website for any unlawful purpose, to infringe on intellectual property rights, or to interfere with the website’s functionality.
We make every effort to keep the website accurate and up to date but cannot guarantee that all product details, prices, or availability are always error-free.

10. Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of this website or purchase of our goods.
